Google Trends Gets Updated, Trending Topics in Search and YouTube Now Available

Always like to be the first in your group to know what is trending in Searches and on YouTube? Google Trends just made it even easier for you.

Google announced a new search feature allowing you to see what trending in 2014. Simply search for [2014 trending topics], [2014 trends] or any other similar trend based queries and you will see a numbered list relevant to your trend search. This feature is available in 45+ languages with specific results for 61 countries so no matter where you are you can always keep relevant.

This is a neat new feature to keep us connected as we devour the countless content accessible on the web today and goes well with the update released last month allowing users in the United States to view trending YouTube videos as well. And now if you visit Google Trends and click “Trending on YouTube” in any of 27 applicable countries you can instantly access the newest popular videos.mobile-seo

These new Google trends features will really help you keep up on all the latest trending videos from cute puppies to bad dancers and minecraft voiceovers because who can ever get tired of cute and embarrassing videos from around the world.

In the interest of science I decided to conduct my own trends search from 2014 in different countries and decided to share three of my favorite.

1. Video of The Year Awards Goes to…“Mutant Giant Spider Dog”, told you puppies were cute.

2. Unanswerable Question of The Year Goes to… “How to Teleport”, science rules!

3. Photography category winner is “Selfie Tips”, hold on…let me take a selfie.
